ABSENTEEISM

Description

In Kirisa primary school, Hoima, primary five teachers spend most of their time taking alcohol hence absconding from duty. As the term was about to end, the monitor together with MIRAC staff were invited by the head teacher to advise her as regards the issue. All came to the conclusion that the teacher should be suspended indefinitely from school. On 1st February, the monitor gladly communicated that the teacher had been expelled.
