POORLY CONSTRUCTED PIT LATRINES

Description

On 13/2/12 monitors reported shoddy work at the Dakabele Primary School latrine block. A visit to the school confirmed cracks had already appeared on the new structures which was not yet in use and the doors were not locking. As a result the school administration rejected the structure. A team from TAC and ACCU visited the DEO who followed up with the engineering department to assess the magnitude of the deficiencies on the structure.
