Poor Sanitation

On 15th march 2012 women monitors during the routine monitoring reported that Nakavule main Hospital had poor sanitation standards due to absence of running water within the hospital premises.This was attributed to limited funding and as a result the patients use dirty toilets and this which are in a poorly lit environment and a health especially to the new mothers who have to walk long distance to access the washrooms.This was also confirmed by an audit carried out by ACCU and a report submitted to the Ministry of health and the Monitoring Unit under the president's office for follow up.
